With the addition of Silversyde, Joseph Rojas’ Rockfest Records continues to add depth to its family of artists.
In an announcement on their Facebook page today, the label announced the signing of Toledo, Ohio-based hard rock band Silversyde. According to their profile, “SilversydeTM was birthed from turmoil, chaos, and despair. Our lyrics tell a story of release from addiction to many harmful behaviors including drugs, alcohol, and an incessant desire to find acceptance in people and behaviors that sought to destroy us.”
Their intention is to bring a message of abundant life to those struggling with depression and harmful behavior. “No longer shall we be slaves to depression and addiction. Our lyrics are real, our motives are pure and our hearts are set on reconciliation with the source of all purposeful, abundant Life.”
More details are expected to follow from Rockfest Records regarding plans for new music from Silversyde, who last released music independently in 2015 with their EP Casting Shadows.
