Switchfoot’s Jon Foreman has announced that he plans to share an acoustic song every day this week. The first one, a performance of “Vice Verses,” is posted to the band’s Facebook now.
“When words fail and I can’t seem to find any answers for the storm surrounding me, I pick up a guitar. So this week, we want to give you a song a day,” Jon Foreman shared in the post. “I don’t have the answers, but I do know that love and melody can remind us to have hope, and to be kind to one another. Music has always been there for me. I hope you can find some comfort in it too. Love to you and your family— stay safe out there.”
The announcement comes just days after the band also shared a throwback rendition of New Way To Be Human’s “Sooner or Later.” The videos and songs are part of the band’s ongoing mantra: hope deserves an anthem.
