Jen Ledger joined recent Victorious Tour partners From Ashes to New for a cover of Papa Roach’s “Gravity.” The cover is the latest in a series that From Ashes to New has been releasing during COVID-19 quarantine.
“So much fun jumping in with my friends @fromashestonew to be a part of their QUARANTINE LOCKDOWN COVERS!” Jen shared when she posted the video to her IGTV. “love @paparoach and love these guys too!”
The singers recorded their vocal parts from their homes, where they’re isolated after having to cut the Victorious Tour short. “Gravity” was originally a duet between Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix and Maria Brink of In This Moment. From Ashes to New has also release quarantine covers of iconic alternative songs like “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence and “Faint” by Linkin Park. There is no word yet on if we can expect these tracks to release to Spotify and Apple Music.
It’s not the first musical venture Jen’s shared from quarantine as well. A few days ago, she ventured out of her comfort zone by posting an acoustic version of her song “My Arms,” playing the guitar instead of her usual drum kit. You can watch that on Jen’s IGTV as well.
