Anberlin Live Stream Event “Miles From Here, In Other Towns” Set For May 24

Anberlin had been planning a US tour this summer starting in July 2020. Like many other entertainment events, from sports to festivals, this tour has been postponed.

The good news for Anberlin fans is that the band will be hosting their “first ever full-band acoustic live stream” on May 24, 2020 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, according to a post by frontman Stephen Christian on Facebook. “Since we can’t come to you, we thought we would at least bring you something special,” he said.

Tickets for the livestream, which will feature acoustic songs, alternate versions of the Anberlin catalog and a few covers, are available at anberlinmerch.com. Bundles for the “Miles From Here, In Other Towns” live stream start at $10 for access to the live stream through $43.99 for a bundle and multiple merch items.

Christian concluded his post with a cordial invitation to fans, saying, “Let’s spend time together even though we’re all miles from here, in other towns!”

Anberlin reunited in December 2018 for the first time in four years for a show with Underoath before launching a full on comeback tour last summer. Stephen Christian and Christian McAlhaney recently teamed up for a live stream in April, but the show on May 24 will be the first full band livestream for Anberlin.

Under the recording alias of Anchor & Braille, Stephen Christian has already released multiple singles in 2020 including “Eventful Horizons” and “Closer & Further,” leading into full length album Tension on May 22.

Keep up with Anberlin by following them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
