Anchor & Braille, Stephen Christian of Anberlin’s side project, released the Christmas Cover “All I Want For Christmas is You.”
Christian wanted to release this song in honor of his daughter Nola. He said, “My daughter Nola listened to the original version of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ on repeat last Christmas, as one of her presents for Christmas this year I am going to give her this song. Hopefully, some other family or friends can make lifelong memories of my version of this song, as we did.”
This is a beautiful version of this song. It is different enough from the original to stand on its own merit. The track has that definitive Anchor & Braille sound, with Christian’s otherworldly vocals prominently leading the way. His ethereal tones will make this song a favorite all over again. Blending with his vocals the female accompaniment vocals makes for a beautiful rendition.
