Scott Stapp To Portray Frank Sinatra In Upcoming Film

Scott Stapp is best known for his role as frontman of Creed and his solo rock career, but he will be portraying a singer from a very different genre in an upcoming film about President Ronald Reagan.

In a post on Facebook, Stapp confirmed that he would be playing the role of easy listening and jazz vocalist Frank Sinatra. Stapp said that he is “excited to a part of this incredible film” and shared a link to a Billboard Magazine article.

The article says that Reagan is a biopic about the former president that “will include a scene in which Stapp will perform as Sinatra at the famed Cocoanut Grove, at a time when Ronald Reagan was president of the Screen Actors Guild and the club was a staple of old Hollywood.”

The movie is planned for a 2021 release.

Scott Stapp released his most recent solo album in 2019, The Space Between The Shadows. The album features hit singles like “Purpose For Pain” and “The World I Used to Know.” Keep up with Scott Stapp by following him on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
