I think as teenagers and young adult its hard to see just how big the world is. We get so narrow focused on what's right in front of us that we can't even comprehend that we'll ever get past this. But suicide ends the possibility that it'll get better and doesn't allow us to trust the Lord to use us and teach us through those dark times.
