Fight the Fury Tops iTunes Chart and Debuts Music Video on Release Day

Fight the Fury, the heavy music side project of Skillet’s John Cooper and Seth Morrison, has released their debut EP Still Breathing today. The project landed at #1 on the iTunes rock charts as Billboard debuted a music video for the lead single, “My Demons.”

The five song has launched to rave reviews across the board (read Rock on Purpose’s review here). When explaining why he chose to release these songs apart from Skillet, John Cooper told Billboard “In the end I just thought it would be really cool to have a side project so I can let those songs be what they want to be and just kind of do whatever I want to do. It’s a real love project for me.”

The quick climb to number 1 in the rock albums slot on iTunes proves that fans are already sharing Cooper’s positive sentiment. Fight the Fury will be bringing these songs to the stage for the first time this winter with tour dates in Russia.
