TWLOHA is celebrating 14 years as an organization bringing hope, education, and encouragement to people dealing with depression, self-injury, addiction, and suicide.

A special radio broadcast featuring a star-studded lineup of major rock and alternative artists kicked off National Suicide Prevention Week today. The artists include Skillet, Disturbed, and Blink 182. The broadcast, under the initiative I'm Listening, aired on over 230 radio stations owned by Entercom, as well as on radio.com, where you can stream the broadcast. Our heart to those who have personally struggled with suicide is that it is tough right now, there's no denying that. However, it gets better. I think as teenagers and young adult its hard to see just how big the world is. We get so narrow focused on what's right in front of us that we can't even comprehend that we'll ever get past this. But suicide ends the possibility that it'll get better and doesn't allow us to trust the Lord to use us and teach us through those dark times.
