Members of Righteous Vendetta and Alder Lights form Linkin Park Tribute Project, Wretches and Kings

When Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington passed away in July 2017, friends Ryan Hayes (Righteous Vendetta) and Marcus Barkac (Alder Lights) began to set into motion an idea for a cover band to honor the legends.

In a post on Facebook, Wretches And Kings announced that they are “a cover band playing songs primarily from [Linkin Park’s massively influential] Hybrid Theory and Meteora.” They continued by saying that “something special happened in the world when these albums were released. We’ve spent months researching and rehearsing to perform them as close to the originals as possible.”

Joining them for the project will be Righteous Vendetta guitarist Justin Olmstead, along with Jake Goldberg and Kaleb Barkac of Alder Lights and Bart Barkac of Kicking Karma on drums. Wretches And Kings is a name based on a song by Linkin Park of the same title from their fourth studio album, A Thousand Suns.

Fans are asked to spread the word about Wretches And Kings and stay tuned for show announcements soon. Keep up with this new cover project by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
