After 20 years of roof raising electronic rock and roll, Rapture Ruckus will perform their final show in January 2020.
According to a letter to fans on Instagram, “Rapture Ruckus will be performing for the final time at Festival One in New Zealand.”
The New Zealand native genre-bending hip hop, electronic, and rock group was formed by vocalist Brad Dring and former bandmate Doug Aitofi in 2001. They signed with BEC Recordings and moved to Nashville, TN in 2009 and have released 5 full length albums and numerous EPs and singles, including Dove Award nominated Open Your Eyes in 2011.
Dring closes his passionate memo by saying, “I thank you from the bottom of my heart [for the support over the last 20 years]. None of this would have happened without you. I’ll be forever grateful and proud of what we achieved.”
Festival One will take place in New Zealand January 24-27, with tickets available by visiting festival.one.
