Solid State Records and metalcore veterans Fit For A King announced The Dark Skies U.S. Tour coming in the spring of 2020.
According to a post on social media, the tour will feature FFAK in support of their 2018 Dark Skies album with special guests and fellow heavy bands Chelsea Grin, Japanese metal band Crystal Lake, and Australian rockers Alpha Wolf. The tour announcement closely follows Fit For A King’s stint on the road with Ice Nine Kills.
Fit For A King has released four studio albums since signing with Solid State Records in 2013, with Dark Skies peaking at the number 3 position on the US Hard Rock charts. According to their official website, “the music and message of Fit For A King is a battle cry against the darkness” and “a sound that stands in defiance of the mounting pressure of modern life, not through dismissiveness or easy answers, but with earnest struggle.”
