Lacey Sturm Begins Recording For Anticipated Sophomore Album

Lacey Sturm has a passionate fan base, so when she teases new projects, there’s a lot of energy that is created. As previously reported, Lacey is expected to put out new music in 2020. This week she posted that recording work has officially begun with drum tracks.

We have already had news that Lacey Sturm wrote with Skillet’s Korey Cooper for the project. In addition to her second solo album, Lacey Sturm collaborated on a track for Breaking Benjamin’s Aurora album released earlier this year, and she continues to be involved heavily with the Reflect Love Back devotional and music series.

Lacey Sturm is well known for her season as lead singer of Flyleaf and as an author of three books. Her and her husband Joshua Sturm launched a 12-week devotional series called Reflect Love Back in 2018. Her debut solo project, Life Screams, was met with critical acclaim as one of the best albums from the last decade.
