Furnace Fest continues to heat up, most recently with the announcement that Showbread will be reuniting to play through their landmark album No Sir, Nihilism is Not Practical.
The announcement came alongside the announcement of bands As Friends Rust, Jeremy Enigk, and Poison the Well. Showbread also shared about the reunion on their own social media pages, saying simply “Performing No Sir, Nihilism is Not Practical with the lineup that wrote and recorded it.”
Furnace Fest will be the band’s first show since they disbanded in summer of 2016. No Sir, Nihilism is Not Practical was the band’s first with Tooth & Nail Records, containing their hit “Mouth Like A Magazine.” The album originally released in 2004.
Showbread is the latest in a long line of surprise reunions that will be taking place at Furnace Fest during its special reunion event in Birmingham, AL. Tickets and VIP upgrades are available at furnacefest2020.com.
