Jacksonville’s finest beautycore rockers have been Taking Over 2020 in so many creative ways, from e-tours to their latest EP. Gold Frankincense and Myrrh (GFM) are rising in popularity and capturing the hearts and ears of rock fans everywhere. Now one of the favorite singles from Operation Take Over is their latest music video.
“SMILE” is a song that takes a bit of punk rock, a sprinkle of metal, and then GFM stamps it with their unique brand of beautycore to create a fun banger of a song.
The video is full of vibrant colors, delivered in a way that adds to the story the song is telling: a story of not wanting to act a certain way on demand, that it’s ok to have emotions and feelings.
