Founded amidst the Covid pandemic in 2020, Then It Ends is making waves in the metalcore scene. Their latest single, ”Chasm,” is the title track of their EP, which is set to release later this year. The song features guest vocalist/screamer Michael Felker from Convictions.
“The song is about [the Biblical story of] the rich man and Lazarus, and puts it back on the listener of which one they will be,” says Grant, the vocalist for Then It Ends.
Lyrics in the chorus challenge the listener ”Do you know? / Do you care what is waiting for you?”
When it comes to working with Michael, Grant says “Michael is an amazing individual! We wanted him on this track because we love his vocals and thought they would fit the song really well. He did amazing with it!”
