Remedy Drive Releases Acoustic Video for “Dragons”

Remedy Drive has released a new acoustic video, including a story behind the song segment, for their song “Dragons” from their album Imago Amor.

For David Zach of Remedy Drive, darkness is not a stranger. For seven years, he has transformed the work of his band to align with the work of justice– specifically, the work of freeing enslaved individuals around the world in partnership with The Exodus Road. Imago Amor is the third album centered on telling the stories he's encountered along the way. The songs capture a defiant hope that resonates both in the work of justice, and in the work of being human and whole in a broken, breaking world. I had the opportunity to catch up with David about what it means to be made in the image of love, how he's navigated the past year of human history, and what it means to practice hope as a sacrament.

With Imago Amor, Remedy Drive uncovers what is truly at stake if we believe that everyone is created in the image of Love. Goodness, truth, healing, beauty– they are woven through the fabric of this world, shining in the face of the forgotten, the enslaved, the downtrodden. These songs ask if we're brave enough to go looking for them.

Remedy Drive is preparing to cap off Human Trafficking Prevention Month in January with their new album Imago Amor, due out on January 29. The album will be their third that supports the counter-trafficking efforts of The Exodus Road.
