Memphis May Fire lead singer Matty Mullins dropped a new tune called “No Hold on Me.”
The single is his first solo music since 2017, when he released Unstoppable, a project that “unashamedly, enthusiastically claims both its pop musical identity and its complete reliance on the message of hope we have through Jesus Christ,” according to a review published by NewReleaseToday.
“No Hold on Me” is an inspirational song rooted in the same pop and spiritual identity as described above. Upbeat and soulful, the chorus is a praise offering delivered from a heart of worship, celebrating freedom from the stronghold of the devil.
No more shackles on my feet
The devil's got no hold on me
Jesus' blood has set me free
The devil's got no hold on me
He's got no hold on me
“No Hold on Me” is available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
Best known to the Rock On Purpose audience as lead singer of metalcore band Memphis May Fire, Matty Mullins released his self-titled debut in 2014. Memphis May Fire released their most recent project, Broken, in November 2018.
