Skillet has announced that they will be playing back to back drive-in concerts in Cedar Park, TX, on October 9 and 10. Colton Dixon will also be performing.
These will be the first drive-in performances from Skillet. Tickets will be available through a special presale August 12 and 13, after which they’ll be available to everyone. VIP packages are available that allow fans to be in the front rows of parking spaces, plus giving them a blanket to keep warm while they watch from their cars.
Skillet frontman John Cooper invited fans, “It’s been tough to not rock out with our fans over the past 5 months, so we are psyched to do two shows in a row in Texas this October. Come rock with us, panheads!”
The drive-in events are the latest way Skillet is innovating, following behind their September release of the deluxe edition of Victorious and their second graphic novel, Eden II: The Aftermath.
