Switchfoot let the news slip at their most recent livestream concert that a new album is well underway.
The stream was a special edition of their Fantastic Not Traveling Music Show celebrating 20 years since their album Learning to Breathe released. The band has now shared publicly the moment in the livestream where their producer called, and they took the call in order to give fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
Switchfoot is a consistently prolific force in the music industry, with their 2019 album Native Tongue dropping immediately after a year long “pause” for the band. Although it will likely be a while until this new album releases, Switchfoot shared “this record is already stretching us in so many ways and we can’t wait for you to hear what we’re working on!”
