NESDAM hit the music scene in 2021 with the release of their powerful first single, "Crawl." Since then, there had been a steady growth of anticipation for the debut album (released earlier this year through XOVR Records) and the debut performance at Lifest, a Christian music festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
"'Joyride' touches on love that hurts, yet you couldn't live without it," Nesdam states. "Through the ups and the downs, you realize they all matter and all serve a purpose, and you'll never feel more alive than when you feel like you've died so many times."
Exploding on the scene with one of the strongest sophomore efforts this writer has ever heard, Zahna graced the world with Stronger Than Death, her follow-up to 2018's Red For War.
The 4th annual Grizzly Awards will stream live on YouTube on March 25, featuring performances by Zahna, Nate Parrish and Rusty Shipp. Special segments will be presented by Petra’s John Schlitt and Disciple’s Joey West.
“I've experienced these types of nights only a handful of times in my young life. There were moments I truly felt abandoned by God.” Zahna explains. “But even through turbulent times in my faith, when I believed that God wasn’t listening to my prayers, He always showed me later somehow that He was with me, and He has always been with me.”
"One of our big quotes is 'reformed and always reforming,'" festival founder Chase says of the church that hosted the event. "What if there was a way I could bring bands and people together to start reforming lives in Bartlesville?"

Zahna released her single “Better Run” earlier this summer, and she added to it on August 27 with the release of the highly anticipated music video.
Chains Unchained 2021 is in the books, with the proceeds from this year going to charities like His Table Ministries. The festival featured a lineup with headliners Chaotic Resemblance and The Protest, along with Zahna and Bred 4 War, and introduced a fiery fan favorite metalcore band, Brotality.
"Crawl" is an hard rocking anthem that "represents a raw and open Patrick Madsen," former drummer for Random Hero and current drummer for Zahna.
