California metal band SILENT PLANET will release their new album SUPERBLOOM. It arrives November 3 via Solid State Records.

Silent Planet and Fit For a King released a special dual single on April 9, trading vocalists on recent tracks from the bands. "Trilogy" by Silent Planet was reimagined with Fit For a King vocalist Ryan Kirby at the helm, while Garrett Russel put his vocal stamp on "Stockholm" by Fit For a King. The two Solid State bands have offered the joint singles in service of a greater cause, playfully calling their collaboration "Silent King."
This is a band that produces albums that do not sound the same from start to finish. From the themes to the sonic changes in the instrumentation, Silent Planet keeps listeners on their toes.

In order to cover the costs of repairs, Silent Planet released some new merch– complete with tongue-in-cheek parody of their "Trilogy" song lyrics. Proceeds will allow Silent Planet to make the rest of their tour dates. You can find the shirts at http://www.silentplanetmerch.com.

Silent Planet has announced spring tour dates to coincide with the re-release of The Night God Slept, which they have re-recorded from scratch.

Silent Planet has released a b-side from When the End Began titled "Shark Week." Like all of Silent Planet's art, the track doesn't shy away from heavy themes.
August Burns Red is closing a monolithic tour with Silent Planet and Silverstein in New York next week, a tour that has commemorated a decade since the release of Constellations.

Heart Support, the mental health centered organization founded by August Burns Red's Jake Luhrs, hosted a Flourish Gala. The gala's speakers, panelists and attendees including iconic metal musicians like Matty Mullins (Memphis May Fire), Austin Carlile (former Attack Attack and Of Mice & Men), Garrett Russell (Silent Planet) and Ryan Kirby (Fit For A King).
